Beef Bacon is made from the plate, a section of the beef belly that connects to the short rib.The short rib is removed and the plate is then trimmed up. Beef bacon made from the plate looks a lot like pork bacon! We dry cure our beef bacon and age it for 10-14 days. It is then smoked on hickory which gives it that smokey bacon flavor we all love!
This bacon isn’t like pork bacon. The slices are much bigger! Pan fry to your preferred crispiness and enjoy every day. Old Major Smoked Beef Bacon comes in 1LB (16oz) packages.
